Nurse Paul Diment is Sigourney Health Care and Assisted Living’s Customer Service Superstar for September 2018.
Paul is our night nurse. He is one that generally takes care of residents with the least amount of help for any shift, and he does so exceptionally well. He knows all our residents’ quirks, habits, likes and dislikes. He loves our facility and has even brought in both of his parents for skilled care with us recently.
Paul’s dedication and passion for his residents was evident during the month of September. “Paul really helped us out by taking over shifts when another nurse had called in, and he picked up some day shifts in addition to working nights for us. I really appreciated his willingness to help!” says Kelly Septer, Director of Nursing.
Activity Director Julie Wilson comments that “Paul is such a compassionate caregiver. He treats every resident as family, especially when some WERE his family, and is incredibly patient with them. Our residents really love him.” Business Office Manager Tammy Smith agrees. “He is always open to helping out with coverage on the floor. We really appreciate him and his willingness to put our residents’ needs first.”
Paul has been a member of our team for 14 years. In that tenure he has gotten to know not only our residents, but our facility as well. “Paul has always been extremely knowledgeable about this building. He has even showed me how to do a few things on some of the equipment!” – Curtis, our Maintenance man.
